OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Enrollment Procedures

Students may register for the Certified Fitness Trainer Online Program (CFT) at APEI’s website, www.apeiportal.com, via email at info@apeiportal.com, or by calling our school at +1 (603) 602-0301.

Late registrations will not be accepted after the second week of the program starting date.

Admission Requirements

Enrolling students are required to be at least 16 years old.

School Calendar

APEI offers a 12-week Certified Fitness Training Online Program three (3) times per calendar year.

Classes meet live:
• for 12 weeks
• via Zoom
• twice a week

Check program calendar for updated and current course dates.

Attendance

Students are required to attend ¾ of scheduled classes or 9 of 12 classes/days.  Tardiness will be defined as being more than 1/2 hour late to the beginning of class.  2 tardy appearances will result in 1 missed class. If a student misses more than 3 classes (including tardy appearances) the student will:

    A) fail the course and will be administered the appropriate refund

    B) Re-register to attend an upcoming session

If there are unforeseen or significant instances for which a student misses more than 3 classes, it will be the faculty’s decision whether or not to allow those absences to count towards this policy.  It will be the student’s responsibility to notify instructor(s) that he/she will not be attending class within 48 hours by sending an email to info@apeiportal.com or calling 603-602-0301.  This will allow instructors to plan accordingly.

Grading

A score of 60 points will be needed to pass the course.  A maximum of 100 points will be given during the course. Final grades will be the sum of points after a student completes the following:

  • A written multiple-choice exam of 100 questions (worth 50 points);

  • A practical online presentation assessed by the course instructor (worth 40 points);

  • The weekly graded homework (worth 10 points).
